After an 84-68 victory over Bryant on Wednesday night at SEFCU Arena, the University at Albany basketball program reached the 10-game mark of its nonconference schedule with only one loss. For America East Conference teams, though, early-season games hold the value of spring training exhibitions. Bryant coach Tim O'Shea, after losing to UAlbany and seeing Vermont on tape, said the America East has two elite teams. Historically, the only way for an AE team to get to the NCAA Tournament is via the conference's automatic bid.
