While I feel bad for Eli Manning, the Giants need to see what the future holds without Manning at quarterback. The shocker is that Geno Smith is getting the start, and not rookie Davis Webb. If this were a decision to see what Webb can do the rest of the way, it would make much more sense. But Geno getting the start is a slap in the face to Eli, who has started every game since November 2004. And why didn't co-owner John Mara tell Manning face to face what they decided to do?
