Albany Freshman point guard Roman Penn dribbled in place on the Siena logo at halfcourt in the closing seconds of the first half on Saturday afternoon. He glanced back briefly toward his bench and then called a play. He took one dribble to his left and launched a 3-pointer that went cleanly through the net for a seven-point lead over Hofstra with 11.3 seconds left in the half.
