Sophomore quarterback Joe Germinerio sat out Brockport's final game of the regular season to heal a few minor aches. He returned to the field in the first round of the Division III football championships last Saturday and led the 11-0 Golden Eagles to a 66-0 victory over Plymouth State in Brockport. The 6-foot-1, 215-pounder from Wynantskill (La Salle Institute), hit 19 of 27 passes for 316 yards and three touchdowns. He also scored one himself on a four-yard run. Brockport led 38-0 at the half. In 10 games, Germinerio has completed 187 of 268 passes (69.8 percent) for 2,685 yards with 23 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
