Sean Egan and the RPI football team saw the season come to an end with a 45-27 loss to Wesley in the first round of the Division III NCAA Tournament last Saturday in Dover, Del., but the standout can look back on a big season and career with the Engineers. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound defensive back was named to the Liberty League first team for the second straight season and came up big as RPI defeated rival Union 20-14 on Nov. 11 in Schenectady that earned RPI the league title and a trip to the playoffs. He had six tackles and two interceptions, the second coming on the final play of the game.
